Community Fellowship Groups
Welcome to FBC Community Fellowship Groups! We understand the need every believer has for corporate, congregational worship; but also the need we all have for small group fellowship. That’s why we have several smaller communities within the larger body of FBC to provide close-knit, personal fellowship with other believers. The goal of our Community Fellowship Groups is to provide an atmosphere where each believer can develop deeper relationships with one another resulting in mutual simulation of faith and greater care of the overall body. We strive to meet this goal through regular meetings located throughout the county where together we sing, pray, serve one another, share in the Word of God, and often times share a meal! Whether you’re new to the church or a long time member, everyone is welcomed and encouraged to take part in this very exciting and necessary part of the Christian life! If you have any questions about this ministry, feel free to contact us at firstname.lastname@example.org.
Sunday Night – The Tharp Group (Mike and Livia)
THIS GROUP HAS CONCLUDED. Check back in the fall for a new study.
Are you married or thinking about being married some day? If so, you may have some questions: What does God think about marriage? Can marriage truly be satisfying and fulfilling? What does the Bible say about roles, responsibilities, communication, se… (well, you know…), etc.?
If you have questions such as these, this study will be great for you. Our meetings consist of spending time in interactive Bible study, fellowship (if you want to connect with others in the church family) and of course, food! Definitely plan on bringing a snack to share around.
We start at 6:30 each Sunday evening and end around 8:00. Childcare is provided (by a rotation of parents who bring their children). Though not exclusively true, this group is designed for married couples; however, engaged couples or those interested in what the Bible has to say about marriage are welcome to join us.
We meet at a variety of locations in the area. If you need to contact me for more information (such as location of the meeting), please email me at email@example.com or call me at 801-785-8122.
